How can I travel back to the beginning?
As the latest message on the Bulletin Board says, first you need to find an add-on to the time fob (aka the "strange device").

If you don't have it already, you can find it in Gordon's Lair, on the table, leaning against the cage.

While you're there, do take the time to examine the BLACKBOARD for hints on what needs to be done, if you haven't done so already.

According to the Blackboard sketch, we're going to need BEAR to establish a baseline.

As you haven't come across any bears yet (have you?), you can only assume "Bear" refers to the GERBIL inhabiting the cage where the word "Bear" is rather prominently displayed.

Take Bear with you before you leave.

If you're going to put little Bear in the fountain, you'd better keep him dry and safe. Can you think of a suitable vessel for him?

If you haven't done so already, go take the TINY BOAT from the present-day Travel Agency.

Time travel to the Present if you're not there already. You don't want to leave the bubble from a different time, or who knows if you'll ever be able to come back again!

Look at the present-day fountain. If you've done everything you needed to, the portal will have changed.

The portal is now tiny – or rather, Bear-sized. Time for Bear to be our brave little pioneer.

Place the boat on the fountain water. Then carefully place Bear on the boat.

Don't worry, you'll see him again soon. With the baseline established (thanks, Bear), attach the ADD-ON to the Time Fob.
