What can I do in the Gordon Lair?

Have you read the latest message on the Bulletin Board?

--

You're supposed to "run the sim."

--

Does anything in the Lair look like a simulator to you?

--

How about a simulator of planetary movements?

--

The solar system model!

--

Too bad two planets are missing.

--

You might be able to find a substitute or two somewhere.

--

If you're thinking of using fruit, why don't you read the notice on the wall next to the solar system model?

--

Do you have anything sphere-shaped in your possession?

--

A ball, maybe?

--

If not, step through the portal twice to time-travel to the 50s.

--

You will find a BASEBALL in the Curiosity Shoppe.

--

It's in the skull. Yuk.

--

You'll also need a second sphere, though.

--

There was another ideal substitute for the model somewhere.

--

So ideal that it's actually a planet.

--

Or a model of one.

--

There is one in the Curiosity Shoppe, but it looks impossible to separate from its stand.

--

Do you remember another Earth somewhere? Or some time?

--

Step twice through the portal to return to the Present.

--

Visit the Travel Agency.

--

If you don't have a KEY, return when you find it.

--

Take the Earth from the desk.

--

With a planet-shaped baseball and an actual "planet" in your possession, step through the PORTAL twice to go back to the 1600s.

--

Go up the steps to the Gordon Lair and drag the baseball and the Earth onto the solar system model.

--

Watch as the model starts working and the new flight plan is automatically calculated.
