How do I power up the conduit?

According to the Bulletin Board message, you have to go to the Inn.

--

Do you remember where you hid the power source when Mr. Gordon's ancestor wanted to take it from you?

--

Presumably it's still in a wine bottle somewhere at the Inn.

--

First step would be to retrieve it, then.

--

The inn building in the 1600s is off limits, and there are no wine bottles in the 50s inn.

--

There are, however, some old dusty wine bottles on the floor in the back office of the present-day inn.

--

Can you see the POWER SOURCE in the bottom-right bottle in the bottle rack? Tap to retrieve it.

--

Now, do you remember where the conduit was?

--

It was hidden in plain sight, in Mr. Gordon's ancestor's study.

--

That's the room that is currently bricked up, yes.

--

So now there's a WALL standing in the way.

--

Do you feel up to smashing down walls?

--

With the right tools we bet you could do it.

--

Do you happen to have a very heavy-duty hammer maybe?

--

There's one in front of the STABLES.

--

If you haven't done so already, time travel to the 1600s and pick up the blacksmith hammer from in front of the stables door.

--

Now that you have the right tool for the job, you only need the help of time itself.

--

It stands to reason that the more that time has passed since the wall was constructed, the easier it will be to demolish.

--

Time travel to the PRESENT and use the hammer on the bricked-up doorway in the Inn.

--

Now step through the newly-opened doorway to get taken straight to the conduit in the fireplace.

--

Place the power source in the slot. One job well done.
